Payment

Commissions are paid in two halves through Stripe. 50% is due before work begins and reserves your slot in my queue. The remaining 50% is due on completion, and final files are delivered once it clears.

Commercial use starts at 25% on top of the full price. Additional terms and conditions for commercial work are negotiable and agreed in writing before work begins.

Refunds

If you cancel before I have started work, your deposit is refunded in full.
Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
If I cannot complete your commission in a reasonable timeframe for reasons outside your control, you get the full deposit back.
If you cancel partway through, I keep the deposit and you owe nothing further. You will not receive the unfinished artwork.
If I cancel a commission I have already started, I refund the deposit in full.

Once final files are delivered you have 30 days to raise a problem. After that the commission is considered accepted.

Turnaround

Timelines are agreed with you before you pay. I will give you a realistic estimate. I check in at the sketch stage and let you know if anything changes. If I fall significantly behind the date we agreed, you can cancel for a full refund.

Revisions

You get one free revision at the sketch stage, which is the point where changes are easiest. Changes requested after linework has begun may cost extra, and I may decline changes that substantially alter the original brief.

Work in progress

Sketches and progress shots are sent at low resolution, watermarked, until final payment clears.

Copyright and usage

I keep copyright on everything I draw for you, including sketches and drafts. Your commission is for personal use. If you need commercial rights, see the commercial use terms above; we agree them before work starts.

Portfolio

I may post finished work on my socials and in my portfolio. If you would rather I did not, tell me before we start and I will keep it private.

What I do not draw

NSFW, mecha, hyper-realism, heavy gore, and vehicles. Character ships, animals and anthro are worth asking about. I reserve the right to decline any commission.
